What Is True Hearts Competition

WE NEED YOUR HELP

True Hearts Unite is looking for university students that are passionate about making a positive significant change to our country, our education and our streets. Our aim is to unite and connect all universities and students to create one voice so that we are all heard. We want you to inspire students to support our campaign and make the difference we all desperately need in our country and the world.

Your Tasks

1. Analyse True Hearts Unite.

2. Write an impactful report, from evidence found on the True Hearts Unite website, Facebook Page or other reliable sources, about knife crime, youth mental health and social decline to show why True Hearts Unite would make a massive difference to so many.

3. Record a 3 minute or longer video discussing/reporting on your findings.

4. Submit it to us before the April 24th 2020.

The Rules

Create your video and your report.

Upload your video submission to YouTube with the prefix of the video title being ‘True Hearts Unite Analysis Submission’ (this is necessary) and submit it by copying the link for your YouTube video and pasting it into the submission box. 

Once you have submitted the form, you will receive an e-mail within 24 hours* which you have to respond to with the document attached.

The role of ‘True Hearts Unite, Head Journalist’ if it is of interest.
Your report published on the True Hearts Unite website and used at the forefront of our campaign.

2nd Place

£300

Your report published on the True Hearts Unite website and used for promotion.

3rd Place

£250

Your report published on the True Hearts Unite website and used for promotion.

Once you have submitted the form opposite, you will receive an email within 24 hours* which you have to respond to with your report attached to validate your submission.

True Hearts Creative Competition Terms and Conditions

1. The promoter is: True Hearts Unite whose registered address is at Apt/Suite 4101, Chynoweth House, Trevissome Park, Truro, TR4 8UN.

2. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom from the age of 18+. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

3. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via https://trueheartsunite.co.uk/analytical-competition/

5. The competition will be run through Facebook, Instagram, True Hearts Unites Website, Youtube and through physical leaflets and posters.

6. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

7. Closing date for entry will be 24/04/2020. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

9. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

The 24 hour response rate is not guaranteed and True Hearts is not liable for any further time needed.

If you are selected as a winner of this competition, we will reach out to you via E-mail and send the allocated prize money to you, through a means agreed by both parties (Bank Transfer, Cheque or Cash).

10. By submitting your work to True Hearts Unite, you agree to grant an exclusive license for your video and report to True Hearts Unite to be used for the promotion of True Hearts Unite through the means of: future campaigns, videos, or any other promotional materials.

11. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

12. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

13. The prizes are as follows:

1st Place – £1000
The role of ‘True Hearts Unite, Head Journalist’ if it is of interest.
Your report published on the True Hearts Unite website and used at the forefront of our campaign.

2nd Place – £300
Your report published on the True Hearts Unite website and used for promotion.

3rd Place – £250
The prize is as stated and no other alternatives will be offered.

The prizes are not transferable.

14. Winners will be chosen by the Promoter and potentially one or more appointed third parties.

15. The winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from that winner and pick a replacement winner.

16. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.

17. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

18. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

19. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by [English] law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England].

20. The winners agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winners or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

21. The three winner’s names will be available 28 days after closing date on the competition webpage.

22. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

23. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to True Hearts Unite and not to any other party. 24. True Hearts Unite also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
